Liquid cooled Monster Motor

I a short time we are proudly present the new Monster LC liquidcooled.
The advantages:

full power as long you have fuel in your tank

This engine is designed just for Flyke/Trike because of the more weight. (39 kg=85 lb).

Fresh Breeze is now offering prop cages and suspension frames made from high grade Titanium instead of aluminium. The first Titanium cage will be made for the Simonini 122 ORC. The main advantage will be a much higher strength of all frame parts and a decreased weight. An additional feature are streamlined tubes which reduce air drag and noise. The prop runs in smoother air with an increased efficiency.

Southern Skies has new Simonini's with is cage in stock. It is a $500 upgrade over the standard cage, but it weighs 3 lbs less. Contact your local Fresh Breese dealer for more info or to purchase.

New Propellers available and in stock: "Helix"

These propellers have a round machined hub. Both propellers are made in Germany. They are made from german made pure carbon fiber and epoxy resin. These propellers are of the highest quality and are FULL CARBON with see through construction and super light weight (the 49 inch props weighs less than 2 lbs). The helix propellers resist chipping and sandblasting (beach flying) very well and do not explode on impact. They are much less of a hazard than a wooden prop. The light weight has less torques, less vibration, faster spool up and less strain on redrive components.

Be sure on new motors to keep the carb vertical on assembly
This picture shows a bad mounting ... do not allow the the carb to be at an angle.

This movie identifies a rich running condition caused by the carburetor mounted at an angle or the main jet being too large for the conditions. If the rpm's decrease after half throttle is exceeded it is a clear indication of the problem and the position of the carburetor should be checked as well as any potential obstructions in the air intake.The main jet size can be reduced from a 160 to a 155 is density altitude conditions warrant.

The FB Simonini now has a thicker, chrome plated, stamped tuned pipe standard- without the header wrap. Due to the thicker material the wrap is no longer needed to control vibration noise. This pipe comes with a 2 year warranty against cracking.

2/08 We have found some bad belts on Monsters. Only the Monster Belts 698 PK 8 and 730 PK 8 made by CONTINENTAL are affected if produced after September 2007. Some of those belts (not all) have a very limited lifespan due to a change in the rubber compound. Fresh Breeze has already changed the vendor on the belts and no more Conti Belts are being used but a few of those are out there and we want to make you aware.

If you have a brand new, unused such belt that falls into the time period please send us the belt so we can exchange it free of charge.

If you have such belt in use on your motor and it has lasted more than 25 hrs it is NOT likely affected. The bad belts will show a lot of wear very quickly and some will even break.

Please check your belts and let us know if you believe you might be affected so we can help.

Please forward this information as find necessary but please be sure to include all the facts pertaining to the brand and time that this problem occurred. Once again, only Monster engines and only Conti Belts after September 2007 are possibly affected.
