Southern Skies, LLC is the only factory-authorized US distributor of the quietest, most powerful and easiest starting paramotor units we know: The Fresh Breeze. Many dealers/instructors are available nationwide, see our Dealer Network.

Our motor units support some of the best power to weight ratios on the market. Precision German engineering provides a light but robust powered paragliding unit that will endure the test of time. This motor is the only unit offered in the USA certified by the DULV (German Ultralight Association) for safety and design. Fresh Breeze motors feature a soft J-bar suspension system with a quick release that allows both a excellent feel for your paraglider and an emergency motor jettison feature for even more enhanced security in flight. There is also a comfort bar suspension available for a more rigid hook in feel or the new, patented SportiX mid-hang point, articulating arm system with great weight shift and no motor pivot. Additionally, Fresh Breeze motors feature tuned exhaust, Bing float bowl carburetor (most models), special intake silencer, and carbon composite props for a powerful but very quiet motor.

All Fresh Breeze motors also use a HEIS (High Energy Ignition System) which allows a very easy start, the Simonini features a Fresh Breeze engineered, German made digital ignition with automatic, digital spark advance for super smooth idling and smooth throttle response. You can actually get a spark at less than 100 RPM making electric start unnecessary. The fuel tank is mounted above the float bowl carburetor on most motors allowing positive fuel delivery, with no priming required. All in all, the Fresh Breeze represents the forefront of powered paragliding technology and with 20 years in the field our units have proven their value and are constantly updated.

Fresh Breeze Paramotors are precision crafted in Germany from the highest quality components and come loaded with options and features. They carry the best warranty, service and support and are known as the most reliable and quietest units in the industry. Electric start add on $ 650.00 surcharge.

Southern Skies is a real business, not just a website. We operate a shop with many Gliders, Motors, Harnesses, Helmets and Accessories stocked. All spare parts for Fresh Breeze motors are available and shipped by UPS daily. A full service machine shop and a sewing shop on site can do most repairs immediately. Real people answer the phone, help you with problems and are generally here for you like we have been since 1994. We pledge to be here for you tomorrow and for years to come. Our equipment is top of the line, high quality gear, mostly engineered and safety certified in Germany, available at reasonable prices. Training and Flying site are either leased or owned by Southern Skies and will be available for you in the future. We do not carry low end, bargain equipment that you might find shopping around on the internet today. We believe that when airborne you should be able to trust your equipment 100% and should have the best training and service possible. Please contact us for testimonials and referrals from pilots in your area.
